The Intersecting, Perpendicular Mirror Plane, Image Encryption Process
|
In the above presentation what you are seeing is a stylized depiction of
the mirror image encryption process utilized by Leonardo da Vinci to
hide secondary images. The method is one we define as “The
intersecting, perpendicular mirror plane, image encryption process” ™.
The final positions of the mirrors upon coming to rest, placed near the
edges parallel and adjacent to a “line of planned intersection”™ in the
paintings or drawings, when properly viewed, yield a series of
constructed images. These constructed images become complete and
exist only in the “mirrored plane of encryption”™, and only when the
mirror plane is perfectly aligned parallel and precisely adjacent to the
planned intersection line and perpendicular to the original plane of the
artwork.
One of the keys to the encryption process is in identifying the location,
angle and position of the line of planned intersection. Without
understanding the process by which the line is determined a viewer
cannot place the mirror in the proper position to create the encryption
plane and hence construct the hidden images. Determining how to
locate the intersection lines is a tedious process, one that took 4 years of
trial and error to understand and apply.
It is his thinking outside the box and his inventive genius creating
images outside the frame that is unique and that requires an
understanding of the man’s thought processes in order to uncover.
It is clear when viewing the man as a whole and understanding his
immense intellect that he almost always communicated on multiple
levels, and that in order to find those meanings you have to return to his
written words for the insight required to find the meanings he intended.
Recognizing Leonardo’s documented tendency to write backwards and
in mirror image, it makes sense that he would use techniques common
to him, the same process, within his art work as he did in his writing, if
he were looking for a way to transmit messages to a select group while
keeping people who did not understand the process from seeing and
understanding the true meaning of those messages.
Finding the perpendicular mirror imaging process in the Mona Lisa was
the first step in allowing the da Vinci Project’s researchers to
understand one of the methods he invented and mastered over the
decades of his life. It is clear that he included encrypted messages in his
later works with increasing frequency and expertise. This process adds
a heretofore un-documented dimension to da Vinc’s work, his genius
and perhaps to history of the period itself. It certainly has ramifications
relevant to what Leonardo knew and to whom he was associated.
A detailed description of the step by step process will be available with
the production of the documentary being compiled for future release..
